Sept 22, 1992 -- Software Migration has announced the release of X/DOS, the
X Window Library for DOS.  X/DOS is a special implementation of the X
Window System and Xlib that allow developers to port X Window clients to
personal computers running DOS, without any modification.  All functions
defined in the Xlib standard are supported.  The resulting program is
standard DOS executable that runs within the base 640K DOS memory.  32-bit
version is also available which provides UNIX like flat memory model using
DOS extender technology. Xt for DOS will be available by the end of
October '92.

A low cost version for educational purposes is also available.  For
