NEW MEDIA GRAPHICS INTRODUCES LOWEST-COST TV IN A PC

Users Watch TV in a Window While Working in Windows or DOS Applications

BILLERICA, Mass., Oct. 19, 1992 -- PC users no longer need to choose
between bringing work home from the office and spending the evening
watching their favorite TV programs. And users who must stay tuned
continuously to financial markets or other news sources no longer need to
bounce back and forth between a TV and their PCs. They can now easily work
and watch TV simultaneously.

WatchIT!TV, a low-cost PC video board from New Media Graphics, lets users
watch TV in a window on their PCs while working at the computer. As they
watch, users can capture the TV image at any point and save it in a
variety of popular image formats.

At a list price of $349, WatchIT!TV is the lowest-cost TV-in-a-window
product available for PCs. Its street price is expected to be
approximately $299.

"WatchIT!TV offers quality TV and framegrabbing performance on the PC at a
very aggressive price," said Joe Bane, New Media Graphics' vice president,
sales and marketing. "It's very simple to install, easy to use, and its
price makes these capabilities affordable for the first time for home
users."

Users can position the TV window anywhere on the screen and size it to 1/4,
1/16, or the entire screen.

With a few keystrokes, users can freeze the TV image and save it on the
hard disk for use in other PC applications, enhancing reports, business
presentations, and other documents with full-color images. WatchIT!TV
supports framegrabbing in all the popular image formats, including PCX,
BMP, BMP-24, and all TGA formats.

An on-screen pop-up control pad that looks like a hand-held TV remote
control allows users to change channels; adjust volume, color, and screen
size; and save still images -- all without leaving their application
program. A programmable timer turns on the TV at the time and channel
selected by the user.

WatchIT!TV lets users view video from a variety of sources: it connects to
an antenna, cable, VCR, or video camera. The board can be installed in
minutes inside the PC with a screwdriver.

WatchIT!TV requires a PC-AT and higher compatible with an 8- or 16-bit ISA
slot, a VGA card with feature connector providing 640 by 480 resolution,
and Windows 3.0 and higher or DOS 3.01 and higher.

New Media Graphics covers WatchIT!TV parts and labor for a full year.
Available immediately in computer retail stores, WatchIT!TV is designed
and manufactured in the U.S.
