GENERIC COBOL COOK BOOK

Mo Budlong, author of a popular series of "how to" books has completed his
latest entitled "The Cobol Cook Book".

The "Cook Book" series are intended to address common programming problems,
and provide tips and tricks on how to solve them. There are examples
illustrated with listings and code as well as canned routines you can
include in your own programs.

"The Cobol Cook Book" will provide a wealth of useful information for
coding in Cobol on any machine, on topics which include sorting arrays,
bubble sorts, reverse date keys, black boxes, logical files, debugging,
string manipulation, case conversion, read previous, printing and delayed
printing tricks.

Mo Budlong is writing "Moving from Cobol to C", scheduled for release in
July by Prentice Hall.
