WARNER NEW MEDIA PUBLISHES MULTICULTURAL CD-ROM: CREATION STORIES

BURBANK, CA -- The latest in a series of provocative multimedia CD-ROM
programs by Warner New Media, Creation Stories asks the question "How did
all that is in the world come to be?" and provides the answers given by
nearly 60 groups, from the Aborigine to the Scientific.

Artisans Grace Chen, Hagit Cohen, Jocelyn Cohen and Nancy Hechinger of
Hands On Media used Adobe Photoshop to craft the artwork - a unique mix of
artifacts and painterly effects marking a breakthrough in electronic
imaging.

Producer Pat Roberts remarks, "Every culture asks, 'Where did we come
from?' We wanted to present the answers given by different groups around
the world, with illustrations that reflect the beauty of each story."

"The program is divided into six sections covering an entire cycle of
creation legend, including the beginning and arrangement of the world, the
creation of humans, the intrusion of disharmony and the destruction and
rebirth of the world. There are 12 stories to listen to and 81 more to
read.

Startling similarities and intriguing differences exist among our
perceptions of the world and its beginnings, but the great unity is the
wonder and awe all cultures have felt at the miracle of creation," says
Roberts.

Creation Stories plays on MPC-compatible computers, and the audio portion
can be played on any CD player. Plans for a Macintosh version are in the
works.

Creation Stories is available now in computer software stores nationwide;
suggested retail price: $49.99. To order direct, call toll-free (800)
